Governing in Times of Crisis: Implications for Society and Beyond
Date:
This workshop brought together scholars from across the world interested in the European policy process. In light of the numerous crises that Europe faces today, we spoke about how governments can cope with uncertainty and how they can adapt their policy processes.
Presenting a paper entitled “Understanding Goal-Drift in European Digital Policy Through the MSF,” I contributed to the discussion by shining a new light on the increasingly centralised nature of implementation of European public policy. The goal is to understand EU policy processes, the involvement and power of private interests and foreign governments.
