Research Methods in Management
Postgraduate course, Queen Mary University of London, School of Business and Management, 2026
As a Teaching Assistant for the postgraduate module Research Methods in Management (BUSM145) at Queen Mary University of London, I supported the module organiser in teaching this class. I designed and delivered a series of seminars aimed at equipping MSc students with the practical and analytical skills required to conduct rigorous academic research. This Level 7 module serves as a core component of the MSc in Management programme, focusing on developing students’ understanding of research design, data collection, and evidence-based analysis in business and management contexts.
I designed and delivered seminars on research design and methodology, covering key quantitative and qualitative skills such as hypothesis development, sampling strategies, survey and interview designs, and case study approaches. Through hands-on activities, students developed first experience with data collection, statistical analysis in STATA and python, as well as qualitative coding.
